Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion are one of the biggest current celebrity power couples. Even though most celebrity relationships don’t work out, we always get excited to see when they get together. Well, Thompson recently decided to give his girlfriend a gift for her birthday.

Per Pop Base, Thompson got Stallion a Bentley for her birthday. It hasn’t been clear what type of Bentley Thompson bought for Stallion, but it goes without saying that he bought her a new, modern version. Bentleys are notoriously expensive, so if Thompson bought her a new model, it probably cost him at least $200,000.

Over the course of his NBA career, Thompson has made almost $300 million, so buying something like this for him is basically the equivalent of buying a candy bar. If that’s not enough, he’s earned tens of millions more in sponsorships over the years. It goes without saying that he is among the most financially successful NBA players in league history.

Currently, he’s not making as much with the Dallas Mavericks as he used to during the good ol’ days with the Golden State Warriors, but even while declining, he’s still making eight figures annually in the NBA, which in and of itself is impressive in the NBA, as most players don’t make that much once they approach the wrong side of 30.

This isn’t all to fire any shots at Thompson’s immense wealth. In fact, a purchase like this signals that this relationship is getting serious. Again, it’s not like this will eat into Thompson’s bank account, but it is still a hefty purchase, and people don’t typically do that for someone they are only casually dating.

For what it’s worth, Stallion’s net worth is around $40 million, so it’s not like she can’t afford a purchase like this herself. Still, it’s cool that she wanted people to know how much she loved what Thompson gave her.

The funny thing is, despite being two pretty big names in all public circles, Thompson and Stallion have been very private about their relationship. They are entitled to privacy, but at the same time, when purchases like these become public knowledge, it’s hard for fans not to come to conclusions.
