Once again, some NFL fans were quick to dismiss Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Once again, they might pay the price.
Mahomes is playing arguably the best football of his career, and he should be one of the leading candidates to win NFL MVP.
On top of that, he made even more NFL history in the Week 8 win against the Washington Commanders.
“Patrick Mahomes joins HOF Peyton Manning as the only players ever with 40,000+ pass yards in their first 9 seasons, including playoffs,” NFL Plus wrote on X.

Unlike the past couple of years, the Chiefs aren’t just winning, they’re crushing their opposition.
They’re looking to make a statement in every single game, instead of coming back to barely get a victory.
Mahomes finally has all of his weapons on the field, and the early results should have the rest of the NFL in fear.
Wide receiver Rashee Rice picked up where he left off before his injury and suspension, and tight end Travis Kelce is turning back the clock after a slow start.
The Chiefs know that no situation is so big that they can’t play their way out of it.
That’s what happens when you have one of the most talented quarterbacks to ever play on your side.
Some claimed that Mahomes had already peaked, but he has stormed back to let everybody know he has a lot more to give.
