Patrick Mahomes has returned to MVP-caliber form as the 2025 season approaches its midpoint.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback delivered a dominant performance in Sunday’s 31-0 rout of the Las Vegas Raiders, showcasing the precision and control that defined his earlier championship runs.
After a sluggish start to the season, Mahomes and the offense have regained their balance, fueling a four-game winning streak in their last five outings.
The numbers tell the story of his resurgence, according to insider Jordan Schultz’s statistics.
Over this recent stretch, Mahomes has completed 124 of 180 attempts for a 68.8 percent completion rate while throwing for 1,355 yards. He has accounted for 14 total touchdowns against just one interception.

Against the Raiders, Mahomes threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns before sitting out the fourth quarter.
The unit is steadily finding its groove with Rashee Rice back to full health, rookie Xavier Worthy showing off his speed, and Hollywood Brown threatening the deep field.
For a player of Mahomes’ caliber, it has been some time since he was widely considered the league’s top talent.
While he continued winning Super Bowls and AFC titles, his last MVP award came in 2022, a notable gap given his sustained dominance.
His recent surge has been impressive, but can he maintain this peak level consistently throughout the remainder of the season?
At this pace, he’s firmly in the MVP conversation, though Baker Mayfield, Daniel Jones, and Sam Darnold are hot on his heels.
But when doubts rise about his MVP-caliber status, Patrick Mahomes has a way of striking back hard, proving why he remains in a league of his own.
