PurplePTSD works in partnership with Vikings Territory, similarly doing their utmost to offer top-notch coverage of the Minnesota Vikings. As a result, we’re promoting five of their top articles of the past week in “The P/PTSD Perspective.” Take a peek at some of their best stuff.
The P/PTSD Perspective: November 8th, 2025
1) Departed Vikings Hero Gets Shown the Door: John Parker Romo has had a wild ride in the NFL. Most recently, Romo was putting in work for the Falcons. Previously, he was earning his pay in the Twin Cities as an injury-fill in. Where he goes in his next step is anyone’s guess.
2) Vikings Expected to Make Some Trade Noise: In the end, the Vikings decided to stick around on the sidelines. Not often, folks, does Kwesi Adofo-Mensah fail to find a dance partner. Any chance no moves is the best move?
3) Picked Off Scrap Heap, Vikings Veteran Earns a Start (And Maybe on Ongoing Job): Nick Vannett isn’t the perfect tight end. Could he nevertheless be a tight end who helps the team to pull off wins? The veteran has size and can be physical. Quite possibly, that’s going to mean more playing time on Sundays.
4) Once Promising Vikings Defender Has Quietly Gone Missing: To be sure, there’s some oddness within the situation. The corner has good size and has potential. Earning a spot on the 53-man roster spot suggests as much. Why isn’t he being allowed to play?
5) New Details Emerge on Aaron Jones’ Injury: Forget what Aaron Jones is capable of doing on the field. Off the field, he’s a great leader who is a key part of what Minnesota is building. Tough, hard working, and competitive. And then there’s Jones being a great pass blocker, being someone with silky mitts, and who runs well, too. The Vikings are better with him in the lineup.
