Season 16, Episode 148 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers claiming Aidan Laros off waivers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday. We go over what we know about Pittsburgh’s new punter and the team releasing WR Brandon Johnson to make room for him on the roster.

The Steelers are winding down their offseason practices this week and with two OTA sessions remaining, we go over what HC Mike McCarthy had to say during his Tuesday media availability. We go deeper into what McCarthy said about TE Darnell Washington and rookie RB/WR Eli Heidenreich. We also discuss the latter’s roster chances.

Rookie QB Drew Allar spoke to the media on Tuesday, so we discuss the key things he had to say during his session. We also talk briefly about what OG Mason McCormick said on Tuesday as well.

A few Steelers players plan on training in Wisconsin with T.J. Watt ahead of training camp, so Alex and I make sure to cover that latest tidbit.

Alex recently wrote about a few overarching team stats the Steelers posted in 2025 that they should hope to duplicate in 2026. We also attempt to add two more to his list of three.

How soon will the Steelers be looking at a new stadium? On the heels of former Steelers QB Charlie Batch talking about that topic this week, Alex and I provide our own thoughts and possible answers to that new stadium question.
