Ignore the Jets tanking alarmists and focus on the bigger picture

The Jets won a game on Sunday, an entertaining 27-24 victory over the Falcons on a 56-yard walk-off field goal by 41-year-old kicker Nick Folk.

MetLife Stadium was less than a quarter full on a drizzly, dreary day with the Jets holding a 2-9 record, one of the worst in the NFL.

But the few who braved the weather and the potential for bad football — despite being soaked and still feeling the late November chill — left the stadium in a state of euphoria given the way the Jets won.

A look at social media after the win, however, told a much different story about how Jets fans felt about the win.
