Season 17, Episode 24 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the latest concerning Pittsburgh Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr. on the heels of him leaving practice early on Thursday.

Did the Steelers make a mistake initially by placing Porter on the Active/PUP list? What is Porter’s endgame goal now? Is he following the Jalen Ramsey playbook from 2021? Can the Steelers trade Porter at this point? Should the Steelers placing Porter on the Reserve/Injured list at this point be considered a legitimate option? Alex and I attempt to answer all of those questions related to Porter, and even a few more, early in this show.

After fully going over the latest concerning Porter, Alex and I look at the Steelers’ Thursday injury report. We discuss the possibility that WR Michael Pittman Jr. could miss the Sunday game against the New England Patriots in addition to talking about whether the team will make any practice squad elevations on Saturday.

With the Week 2 road game against the Patriots coming up on Sunday, Alex and I are joined by Greg A. Bedard, who covers New England for the Boston Sports Journal. Greg provides his insight on the 2026 Patriots ahead of them facing the Steelers, and he answers several questions we have about the Patriots’ offense and defense. At the end of our interview with Greg, he provides us with a final score prediction for Sunday’s game.
