A Steelers Depot daily segment. A quick hit of some Pittsburgh Steelers-related stories that may not require a complete article, but nuggets worth mentioning and passing on to you guys.

CONCEPCION KNEE SCOPE
Wide receiver was one of the Steelers’ biggest weaknesses entering this offseason, and they quickly acquired an upgrade. They traded for Michael Pittman Jr. to kick off free agency, giving DK Metcalf a partner. However, they still lack depth at the position, so they could target it in the draft. They met with most of the top players at that position at the Combine, including Texas A&M’s KC Concepcion.
NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo reported on Twitter that Concepcion recently underwent a knee scope to clean some things up. It’s not a major procedure, and Concepcion is expected to be fine when training camp starts. Therefore, he should still be an option for the Steelers in the first round.
CONNOR HEYWARD JERSEY NUMBER
The Steelers made some quality additions in free agency, but they also lost some players who have been with them for several years. That includes Connor Heyward, who signed with the Las Vegas Raiders. The younger brother of Cam Heyward was a Swiss-army knife in Pittsburgh, playing several different positions.
While Heyward was mostly a tight end with the Steelers, the Raiders are listing him as a fullback. His new number reflects that position change. NFL Jersey Numbers shared on Twitter that Heyward will wear 34 with the Raiders. His father, Craig Heyward, played running back in the NFL, and he also wore that number for much of his career. Therefore, it has a little more meaning for the younger Heyward.
KEATON’S FAVORITE STEELER MEMORY
Michael Keaton has built an incredible legacy as one of the best actors of all time. However, he’s also from Pittsburgh, and he hasn’t forgotten his roots. He’s a huge Steelers fan.
The team recently posted a video on its YouTube channel where Keaton shared his favorite memory of the Steelers. Like many others his age, it’s the Immaculate Reception. However, Keaton was at that game, and he got a great view of Franco Harris’ touchdown. That would be enough to make anyone a fan for life.
