Season 16, Episode 136 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the annual NFL schedule leak process and how two social media accounts seem to always get all the games correct ahead of time.

The Steelers made one signing since our last show, so Alex and I recap the team’s newest player. We also discuss former CB Cory Trice Jr. clearing waivers this week and what to look for concerning his status moving forward.

The Steelers might get rookie WR Germie Bernard signed to his rookie contract sooner than expected and mainly because of the player drafted right after him being signed on Thursday. We explain why we now think that.

With the complete 2026 NFL schedule now in our hands, Alex and I go over the teams, three preseason games and the who, what, when, and where of their 17 regular season games. We discuss the good, bad, and ugly related to the regular season schedule. We also go over a few trends related to several of the team’s 2026 opponents. We also make sure to interject several of the early betting lines for multiple games.

Was the 2026 Steelers schedule designed with QB Aaron Rodgers in mind? We go over what Mike North, Media Vice President of Broadcast Planning for the NFL, had to say regarding that question during a Friday morning interview.

What did we think about the Steelers 2026 schedule release video that dropped on Thursday night? Alex and I give our answers to that question in addition to talking a little bit about a few other schedule release videos that other NFL teams released.

On the heels of Mike Clay of ESPN releasing his early player stat predictions for the 2026 season, Alex and I, as usual, review those and comment on several of them.
