WTA world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka and her boyfriend Georgios Frangulis capped off a relaxing getaway in Greece with a delightful double date alongside tennis legend Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena. The outing offered fans a rare glimpse into the personal lives of two of tennis’s most high-profile couples.
What Have Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic Been Up to Off the Court?
The trip to Greece comes after a whirlwind season for both couples. Sabalenka recently captured her fourth Grand Slam at the US Open and has enjoyed some downtime with Frangulis after a busy tournament schedule.
The Belarusian’s rise to the world No. 1 spot has been supported by Frangulis, who has been a constant presence in her box, cheering her on match after match. Frangulis was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, but comes from a Greek family.

On the other hand, Djokovic and his family recently relocated permanently to Athens due to political tensions in Serbia. The 24-time Grand Slam champion now resides in Glyfada with his wife Jelena and their children, Stefan and Tara, who have enrolled in a local private school.
During their stay, Sabalenka and Frangulis explored Greece’s scenic coastal landscapes, savored regional cuisine with the coaching team, and participated in recreational activities. The highlight of the trip came when Sabalenka and Frangulis joined Djokovic and Jelena for a double date, which included casual tennis practice with the Serbian star.
Frangulis shared a particularly heartfelt post on Instagram, captioning a series of photos, “Home town with my love.”
In response, Sabalenka commented, “My love ❤️,” to which Frangulis replied, “love you very much 🧿♥️.”

Djokovic’s wife, Jelena, added, “Safe travels team! Good luck!🍀,” sending well wishes for her upcoming campaign.

Which Events Are on Sabalenka’s and Djokovic’s Upcoming Schedules?
Sabalenka will look forward to defending her title at the 2025 Wuhan Open (Oct 6-12) in China. She has won the tournament three times before (2018, 2019, 2024) and is recovering from a minor injury after her US Open campaign.
Djokovic, meanwhile, is set to compete at the 2025 Shanghai Masters (Oct 1-12), aiming for his fifth title at the event. He reached the 2024 final and is seeded in the top half of the draw, potentially meeting defending champion Jannik Sinner in the semifinals.
