James marked the Fourth of July with an Instagram Story, posting a selfie alongside the message, “HAPPY 4TH you animals.”

It seemed to be nothing more than a holiday greeting, but a popular fan account quickly spun it into a free-agency conspiracy.

Minneapolis would offer a much different lifestyle than Los Angeles, where James has spent the past eight seasons with the Lakers, while many Minnesota fans are already dreaming about the possibility.
