Season 16, Episode 166 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I start by discussing ESPN’s latest round of layoffs that included former Pittsburgh Steelers S Ryan Clark, who was essentially fired.

Will Steelers DT Cameron Heyward fail to make the NFL Network’s Top 100 list this year? It sure seems like that will be the case. We discuss what a snub that will be if Heyward indeed fails to make the list.

Will the Steelers have an advantage in 2026 because of how many regular-season games they will play on grass? Alex and I attempt to answer that question and especially based on the rankings the Acrisure Stadium playing surface received this offseason.

Alex released his updated Steelers 53-man roster prediction ahead of the team’s training camp getting underway in less than a week, so we go through it position group by position group. We go over the players we might write in pencil right now and how different my roster prediction might look on Monday when it is released.

After thoroughly discussing the latest topical subjects and news concerning the Steelers, in addition to going over Alex’s 53-man roster prediction, the two of us talk in-depth about six more players in my annual 90-in-30 training camp preview series.

The six players we discuss are WR Brandon Smith, S Robert Spears-Jennings, OT Lorenzo Thompson, TE Robert Tonyan, RB Jaylen Warren, and TE Darnell Washington. We give the summer outlook for each player and the chances a few of them have at sticking in Pittsburgh once the preseason ends.

This 97-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap above and we end this podcast by answering a few listener questions we received via email.
