The Vikings’ Playoff Outlook | A 6-0 Football Team Look for Fireworks Instead of Fizzling

The Vikings’ playoff chances look promising. Quite promising, in fact. Winning the opening half dozen games puts Minnesota in the driver’s seat for a nice playoff position.

Next up on the docket is a Week 8 game in Detroit. Many appear to believe that the Vikings are going into a tough test, but there are some believers. Keep on reading to get a better lay of the land for the Vikings and the challenge ahead in Week 8.

The Vikings’ Playoff Outlook | Week 8 in Motown

Vikings Game Info:

On Sunday, November 1st, the Minnesota Vikings will take on the Detroit Lions. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Ford Field is a dome, so don’t worry about the wind and rain. The Lions are a 4-2 football team that could get uncomfortably close to the Vikings if they can snag a win to push them to 5-2. After all, Minnesota would drop down to 6-1.

The Ravens at Bills is the answer here, folks. Neither team can keep Minnesota from getting into the playoffs due to being in the AFC rather than NFC. Each, though, are among la crème de la crème. Oh, and Buffalo is on the schedule for Week 9, so you can get a sense of what’s coming. Since it’s Halloween, think of Josh Allen as being the boogeyman.

The NFL Prophets, Prognosticators, and Pundits:

The panel on CBS Sports goes 5-2 in favor of the Motown Clawed Kitties.

And then there are the prognosticators on the NFL’s website. All five are rolling with the Detroit Lions.

For whatever it’s worth, I think the Lions win since Dan Campbell is better than Kevin O’Connell. So, too, is that Detroit offense far superior to the Minnesota offense.
